Nancy Hadden’s twenty-five years’ teaching experience has established her reputation as a communicative and inspiring teacher and coach. She taught early flute and performance practices at the Guildhall School of Music in London for 20 years, from 1988-2007. in 2007 she was appointed professor of early flutes at Strasbourg Conservatoire.

She was a guest teacher at Malmö Conservatoire and Bremen Akademie für Alte Musik, and has taught countless master classes and workshops at universities, conservatories and summer schools across North America and Europe. She has taught workshops for many years at the Valtice, CZ International Summer School, and the Kingcombe Centre, Dorset, UK. 

She has performed and taught at the National Flute Association of America summer conference: 1992 in Los Angeles, 2000 in Columbus, Ohio and 2012 in Las Vegas.
